MBX8R 1/8 Nitro Buggy Kit

The new Mugen Seiki MBX8R buggy has been tested and developed by the best drivers in the world and you’ll be able to get your hands on one soon! The team at Mugen Seiki spent a lot of time testing and developing the MBX8R geometry in various race conditions throughout 2021, which lead to many major victories. Ryan Maifield won The Dirt Nitro Challenge, Silver State Nitro Challenge, and ROAR 1/8th Fuel Nationals all in the same year! The MBX8R has many new parts to increase stability, rear traction, improve jumping, and has a wide tuning range. 
 
Suspension:
New front shock tower and upper front arm mount use new pivot inserts for increased tune-ability
 
Chassis:
The MBX8R chassis features a slightly new design to accommodate the new suspension geometry.
 
4 shoe clutch: 
The MBX8R comes with a complete new 4 shoe clutch from Mugen Seiki. The new 4 shoe clutch was designed to be easy to work on and more tunable. This clutch features a 34mm aluminum 4 shoe flywheel with removable steel pins. The new clutch has a unique way of adjusting spring tension to tune the engagement to suit your engine, track conditions and personal preferences to optimize fuel consumption and performance. Multiple clutch springs will be available as option parts. New vented 13T clutch bell will be included in the MBX8R kit. The MBX8R will come with two aluminum and two carbon shoes in the kit.
 
Differential and drivetrain: 
High Traction Differentials are included in the MBX8R. The Mugen Seiki HTD provides increased acceleration, longer runtime, and more consistent handling. The HTD also increases stability, traction, and improve handling in bumpy conditions. The HTD diffs use new 20T internal gears to improve consistency and to have smoother operating differentials. This makes it easier to time rhythm sections, better in bumpy and low grip conditions, helps to increase traction, and increases fuel mileage. The MBX8R comes with 12T bevel gear, 42T conical gears, and 46T spur gear in the kit. 
 
New wing and wing mount:
Lightweight high down-force wing allows more air to flow to improve jumping. The new IFMAR legal wing is durable, lightweight, and very stable on the track and in the air. 
 
Revised rear wing mount will provide additional downforce and increase durability. CFRP wing plate will be available as an option part. 
 
Additional new items for the MBX8R:
  • New S bent air filter boot and high-volume filter housing.  
  • New brake override and caliper springs for smoother more consistent braking.  
  • New 90-degree fuel tank fitting for cleaner fuel line routing. 
  • New sway bar collars to reduce sway bar movement.  
  • Emulsion shock caps are included in the MBX8R kit. 
  • Longer battery box for easy storage of wires and harnesses. 
  • New BFRP radio plate to accommodate longer battery box. 
  • New receiver box and mount for use with various electronic switches.
  • Aluminum wing button.
  • Fuel guard for new S bent air filter.

    Mugen rc cars are the best, even if your just a weekend warrior and not a racer or if you are a racer, well look no further, these super high quality race cars from Mugen are no joke the most competitive and most durable cars in the Rc industry hands down, looking to take the checkers at your local track or beat your buddy on practice days , well these Mugen rc race cars and flashpoint racing products is definitely the answer and not to mention they they look the sharpest on the track and will have people wanting to know what your driving cause it flys so good and will blow the doors off all other cars on the track and the best part is you can watch Adam drake build videos to ensure your setting your car up to its maximum capability’s an potential and not only your learning from one of the best in the game and I couldn’t be more happier with my Mugen Mbx8r nitro, my mbx8r eco, and mbx8tr eco and finding myself on the podium a lot more, once Mugen always Mugen this car that build champions

    This kit was so much fun to put together. Adam Drakes video on YouTube really helped. And for a kit this size, I couldn't believe how well everything was organized, and that every single screw was here. Very very nice Mugen! I will be buying again :)
